Dark meat chicken is healthier


I always thought that the white meat in chicken is healthier. It turns out that dark meat packs a greater nutritional punch. It is rich in taurine, iron, other minerals and B vitamins.  The added fat and cholesterol is actually good for the brain and hormone production. The healthiest ways to cook it is in chicken broth, steam or bake. I'm switching to dark meat.
